The 30″ x 48″, is the same wheelbase width as the 24” x 48”, but gives you extra deck space without sacrificing overall width.
This wagon provides an additional 2 sq ft of space on the deck, yet it takes up the same amount of floor space as the 24″ x 48″ above. That’s because the widest point on these two wagons is the wheels themselves and not the deck surface. Umbrella holder, drink holder, flag holder!
An easy way to secure your umbrella or flag (without having to dig a hole), and MOST importantly hold your beverage of choice out of the sand. There’s also a bottle opener, so you’ll never have to use your teeth again – unless of course you’re trying to show off in front of your buddies.
Cooler tray – Holds up to 50 pounds!
The cooler tray comes in two sizes – small: 20″ x 12″ for our smallest wagon(20″ x 40″ ), and large: 24″ x 16″ for all larger wagons. All trays are black.
Surf Rack (for Surfboards, Paddle Boards, Kite Boards, Kayaks, Boogies Boards, etc…)
This rack system increases the carrying capacity of your wagon. It substitutes for the standard single railing, and gives you the option to store things above the cargo that you’re hauling inside your wagon. Prices vary by wagon size. See price chart.
Keyless electronic safe – lock up your valuables while you swim, enjoy a relaxing walk, or take a nap while lounging in your beach chair.
Keep your valuables secure and enjoy your day on the beach. With this attached safe, you can program your own personal code to access the safe without a key. However, if the electronics fail the safe can be accessed by key (two keys are provided with ea./safe)
Side Racks allow you to carry umbrellas, pop-up tents, boogie boards or surfboards
Side Hooks are designed to attach to the wagon deck without any screws, bolts or nuts. Once in place, carry umbrellas, boogie boards, surfboards and even 10 x 10 pop up tents with ease. 1 Set of 2 hooks.
Flag Holder
The umbrella/flag holder! Keep your wagon shaded with an umbrella or display your flag to represent your home state or show pride in your favorite sports team by putting your flag on display. (GO VOLS!)
Turf Tires
If you will be using your wagon on hard surface roads or gravel and dirt trails, these tubeless turf tires work best. Capable of carrying loads up to 1500 pounds, these tries will provide far better traction on hard surfaces than the Wheeleez balloon style tires. Turf tires are not recommended for the beach though. Simply select the turf tires when placing your order. These tires are included in the base price of each model and you can personalize them with the optional decorative wheel covers
Chrome wheel covers
Exclusively for the turf tires, these optional wheel covers will add some personal style to your wagon. Available inserts come in 4 different color options: black, red, yellow or orange. 1 Set of four covers.
Two size Wheeleez® beach balloon tires!
The Wheeleez® come in two sizes; 12″ and 16″ wheels. The larger wheels (additional $200) are recommended for the larger wagons and provide better traction, comfort and load capacity on the sand. The 16″ wheels/tires do add additional width to the overall dimensions of the wagon.
Side Rail systems
A single side rail system is standard. It stands about 10″ off the deck. The optional double rail system stands about 17″ off the deck. When purchasing the optional double rail system the buyer receives a credit for the single rails. Prices vary by wagon size. See price chart.
Twin USB port to charge your phone!
Your at the beach but your phone battery is dead! With these 2 USB ports you can charge two devices simultaneously. (charging cord not included.)
Fishing rod holder
This stainless Steel rod holder is a fantastic way to safely transport your rods to and from the beach. Please specify location(s) and quantity. Up to four per side. Double railing system is required.
Seats for kids!
These seats are perfect for small children . You can even add seat belts for additional safety. The Seats are aluminum and powder coated in black.
160 Amp Controller
If you haul heavy loads or traverse steep inclines or sand dunes, this larger controller will add performance/power to your wagon.
Trailer hitch carrying system
Now you can easily transport your Sandhopper using your trailer hitch receiver on your car, SUV or minivan. Factory installed to your Sandhopper. (Not compatible with keyless safe or umbrella mount)

Colors
Standard color is brown “sand” for all model sizes. We do offer color upgrades (optional color upgrades are: red, blue, and black, but we can also do custom colors). See price list for upgraded color pricing
Railings
Every Sandhopper comes with a single style railing (vertical pieces are a natural finish and horizontal pieces are black powder coat). The single style stands 10″ from the deck. Substitute a double railing that stands 17″ from the deck for additional security of your cargo. Or purchase the Surf Rack accessory capable of carrying additional gear (multiple surfboards or a SUP) above the gear inside your wagon.. This system stands a total of 30″ above the deck.
Battery
All models come with a 22Ah battery standard. An optional 35Ah or 55Ah battery provides greater range when ascending hills and carrying larger loads for greater distances.
Controller
The standard controller for all wagons is a 90 AMP smart controller. If you plan to take your Sandhopper to a more rugged terrain including hills and/or you will be carrying heavy loads be sure and order the optional 160 AMP controller.
Tires
Standard tires for all the various size wagons are the 15″ tubeless turf tires. These are not recommended for the sand however. Optional tires include the Wheeleez® 30cm (12″) balloon tire and the larger 42cm (16″) Wheeleez® balloon tires. The benefit of largest tires is a greater carrying capacity. See photos
Standard Specifications
The wagons widest point for decks up to 34″ wide, is the distance between the Wheeleez wheels at the axle which measures 34″ wide. This assumes the larger 16″ Wheeleez tires. If you have the smaller 12″ Wheeleez tires the width is 32 1/2″. For carts with decks wider than 34″, the deck width becomes the total width of the cart. Total length for the 20″ x 40″ is 46″ and 30″ high when the steering controller is folded back against the deck as far as it will go (assuming the front rail has been removed). This low clearance helps the wagon fit into the rear cargo area of some SUV’s or minivans! For the 24″ x 48″ the length is 56″ and 33″ high with the steering controller folded back against the deck as far as it will go. This assumes the larger 16″ Wheeleez tires. The height would be about 30″ with the smaller 12″ Wheeleez tires. For the 30″ x 54″ the length is 62″ and 44″ high with the steering controller folded back against the deck as far as it will go. This assumes the larger 16″ Wheeleez.
Weight without railings: 20″ x 40″ is 110 pounds, the 24″ x 48″ is 120 pounds, the 30″ x 48″ is 125 pounds and the 30″ x 54″ is 130 pounds.

Your Sandhopper will arrive at your home fully assembled and ready to use. Shipping charges vary depending upon location and include extensive packaging, using a premium carrier and a lift gate service to deliver your well protected beach wagon to your home. All wagons are shipped direct to the consumer from the manufacturing facility in California (which saves on shipping cost and time). Upon receipt of your order we will contact you with an exact shipping amount and expected delivery date. In the unlikely event that we don’t have your model in stock, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. You are under no obligation to purchase should that wait time be unacceptable. Fulfillment times will vary based on demand and the time of year. (Generally the processing time is 48 hours.)
